·         SYNOPSIS:

Marty is a lazy monkey who lives in the jungle with his parents. He has two friends, Candy the caterpillar and Jeffrey the elephant. They like to propose different plans to Marty, but he always rejects them because he prefers to doze on his own. Ms Peanuts is Marty´s mother, and she also tries to encourage Marty to do something different than sleeping. As Marty ignores her, she is very worried about Marty (she thinks he is never going to be an important and respectable animal in the jungle). The old owl is one of the most ancient animals of the whole jungle. Each time he sees Marty, he warns him about the dangers of being lazy and not becoming an important jungle animal.
One day, while Marty was sleeping near a clearing, a terrible storm comes near the jungle. Marty´s friends and family recommend him not to sleep, because being asleep while the storm was happening was too dangerous. They recommend him to look for a shelter. Marty, as usually, ignores them and he starts sleeping. The storm comes and one lightning strikes a tree near Marty and causes a big fire that starts burning everything that surrounds Marty. Candy and Jeffrey risk their lives to save Marty and, with a very big effort Jeffrey puts out the fire with the water he carries in his trunk. After this scary experience Marty learns that sleeping all the time has no sense and he realizes life is much funnier when you spend your time with your family and friends doing interesting things.
